Nundu children's home care initiated a small orphans children program in 2004. A basket ball team comprising children living in Nundu children's home care and other children from nundu area was formed. Alongside the sporting activity, hot meals, medical care, school placement and temporary shelter were provided to the children

The school is affiliated to Software Technologies Limited, which conducts its examinations and awards various certifications. Many of its graduates have secured jobs upon completion of their studies.
With the passing of time, the welcome centre was transformed into a fully-fledged social centre available to all the poor people of Fizi and Nundu areas.
Infact, besides giving shelter to 28 children, supporting the school fees for further 50 and enlisting further 95 children in animation and recreational activities; the centre made available to the inhabitants of the area: a small computer class, a library with electric light until late in the evening, room for different associations opened to the young of the area for meetings, discussions, debates and cultural aims.
Additionally, a basketball team “Nundu club” supervises 26 young athletes, of both sexes, engaged in a variety of disciplines; a group of young called “Sud Kivu Tujuwane (the group for searching sud kivu resources
